On 7-9 December, COS Racing will field four teams to ride stationary trainers to benefit Kids on Bikes
One of our 2018 race sponsors – Pita Pit – has posted a new menu for this year’s event including $2 coffee to meet your morning coffee requirements and a wide range of healthy lunch options for racers, officials, volunteers, and spectators. These include straightforward health, vegan, and or gluten-free choices. Since food options for non-DoD personnel are quite limited on the USAFA, you’ll find Pita Pit’s booth in the Vendors area close to the entrance to the 10th Medical Group Clinic. For details and pricing, see menu below.
On 12 August 2018, COS Racing will host the Colorado State Senior & Junior Road Race Championships at the United States Air Force Academy. Darkblade Systems Corporation will sponsor this year’s event. Darkblade systems is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business providing scientific, engineering, technical, operational support, and training services to Federal government and Commercial clients.
Last year’s event, which was the Colorado Masters State Championships, brought out approximately 400 racers to compete in over 15 categories. Held on the US Air Force Academy, the race will take place on the same course as last year – an 8.8mile circuit around the USAFA, with approximately 750feet of climbing each lap. More details will follow.
