COS Racing April Rides & Clinics (Open-to-the-Public)

During the month of April, the COS Racing team will host multiple rides and clinics from Trail’s End Taproom, as part of our cycling advocacy and community outreach programs. These include a several mountain-bike rides/clinics, a beginner-intermediate group road ride, and a beginner-intermediate time trial training session. Historically, these have been great opportunities for team members and guests to learn new skills and improve technique.  COS Racing Team members are encouraged to participate, bring a friend, and otherwise let the community know of these opportunities.

DATES:
9 APRIL @ 5:30PM – 7:30PM – Beginner-Intermediate MTB Ride (lead by Coach Daniel Matheny)
18 APRIL @ 5:00PM – 7:00PM – Intermediate MTB Ride to Red Rocks/High Drive (Ian Matteson)
22 APRIL @ 10:00AM – 1:00PM – Beginner-Intermediate Road Ride – focus on group etiquette/skills ( Nick Krash Kulesa )

All events are open to the public with wheels rolling promptly at the designated start time. Participants should arrive early to ensure no delays. Participation also requires the proper equipment, including but not limited to an appropriate bike and suitable, certified helmet. In addition to these events, we will host many of our normal, closed-to-the-public rides, so keep an eye on Facebook for the latest information.

COS Racing Supports Kids-On-Bikes

On February 28th, over a dozen COS Racing members converged on Pedal Station, the Colorado Springs headquarters for Kids on Bikes,  to help build, restore, and repair donated bikes for children.  Overall, the team was able to restore approximately six bicycles to a usable condition and contributed a combined total of 19 volunteer hours.
