On Saturday December 13, 2014 the COS Racing team gathered at America the Beautiful Park to clean up the paved trails around the area. The majority of the team headed south on the paved trail leaving the park while others went across the river and started cleanup efforts there. Within 2 hours the team had gathered enough trash to fill 30+ trash bags and they were able to remove 7 shopping carts from in and around the river. The only thing preventing the team from continuing their efforts was the loss of sunlight and they ran out of trash bags. Another event will be planned in the near future to continue the community service efforts that are required to keep this city beautiful.

Clean up the debris on the upper switch back in Cheynne Canyon. With so many riding this area we thought it was a safety hazard for descending and spinning out when ascending. Should make this area a little safer for the cycling community. We even found a bicycle sign buried under the dirt on the road.
